News:  1/25/08 Thank you for visiting.  Type 1 Parents over the last several months as really become part of our extended family.  I encourage all those who might be looking for a support group in dealing with Type 1 in yourself or a family member to check them out.

12/30/07 Christmas has come and gone, We wish you all the Happiest of Holidays, and a New Year that brings joy, prosperity, and birthdays that pretend not to come that we may all stay 21 forever.

8/03/07 The Dallas and Reid's Ride gets closer, the Artist Collaboration is growing steadily still.  It has become very exciting to see all those willing to put aside some time to help us gain ground on our cause.

6/11/07 It took a while to get my thoughts together to get them out there.  I have posted on some message boards a call out to artists interested in submitting original artwork, to be sold, to raise money for the Dallas and Reid's Ride.  The concept is auctioning off "art collections" mixed and matched from artists all over the place.  Please check out the Artist Collaboration page.

2/9/07 I just finished a portrait of my in-laws.  The challenge of this piece is that I really like them, and very few people really like portraits of themselves.  It was fun though, and I had artistic license on the layout and images.  Pictures and descriptions can be found in the Gallery or in the Portraits section. 

2/3/07 My wife and I have been honored with the responsibility of running the Silent Auction for this event.  We are actively searching for items for this auction, the request is that items donated for the Silent Auction be valued at, at least $50.  The Ride is also still actively seeking items for Door Prizes, and Grand Prizes for those individuals who bring in the largest donations.  Those who donate items will be placed on the website as a sponsor, and possibly space on this years T-Shirts.  There are many ways to help, and if you have any questions, or wish to sponsor this event, you can direct your messages or questions to me, or go directly to the Dallas' and Reid's Ride page to contact the organization. 

2/3/07 The Dallas' and Reid's Ride to Defeat Juvenile Diabetes has been scheduled September 15, 2007.   Be sure to join us if you can, and if you can not any donation to the cause would be greatly appreciated.
